Addiction: to devote or surrender (oneself) to something habitually or obsessively
Our children are learning the meaning of this word - one advantage of being back in Cache County - we can go fishing every night! We were able to go to Logan or Blacksmith Fork rivers every night this week. The fishing wasn't great but the kids had a good time. Evan cries when we let the fish go and Issac asks me about 15 times a day if we can go fishing so I guess we've got our children sharing our addiction.
We decided to go redneck (bait) fishing yesterday so we could let the kids actually catch some fish. The had fun with them. We finally had to kill this one and put it out of it's misery. Issac then proceeded to put it in his backpack and take it home. Death apparently means nothing to him - he told me as he went to bed that he and 'Fishy' were going to play again in the morning. We also went to the County Fair on Thursday to let the kids see the animals. It was during a heavy downpour so we got soaked but they had fun. Amazingly enough we made it home without a bunny, a chick, a goat, or any other farm creature as a new pet.
